Strategy, internal presentation to EXCO, concept development, production and roll-out

The Anglo Coal management team recognised the difficult challenge and need to transform the culture of the organisation from within – to bind individual energies and ideas into a single-minded commitment. We were asked to conceptualise an idea that would appeal to everyone and assist with it’s internal communication to all of the Anglo family. We developed a football concept around the 2010 world cup ‘One Anglo. One Goal.’ which captured Anglo’s values and the minds and hearts of all the stakeholders.

The football theme was used as an incentive to staff in the workplace, during their free time and encouraged them to get involved in local schools as part of Anglo Coal’s corporate social initiative. The campaign was well received by management, staff and communities.
